Shop Terms + Policies

Your purchase from Terracotta confirms your agreement to the terms + policies

1. Due to the nature of our work and products, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges.

2. All products are intended for personal use only and are not to be resold.

3. In the event of a lost or damaged parcel, you as the patron are responsible for filing an insurance claim for a refund with the USPS and we are happy to provide you with the insurance information for the package and assist you in the process as needed.

4. If there was a mistake made with your order or a broken item within, please contact terracottafarmacia@gmail.com with photos and we will replace the item if able, or refund if the item is sold out. Again, if the entire box arrives damaged, that is an issue that needs to be taken up with the USPS directly. But if just an item or two has broken due to packaging issues, we will be happy to rectify that.



5. Regarding the above, if an item arrives broken and you are issued a refund, the refund will be cost of the product and will not include the shipping cost. We charge exactly what we pay to ship and will still have incurred this expense to get the package to you originally and therefore cannot refund that cost.


6. Pre order sales are always final and will not be canceled or refunded. You as the patron have the responsibility of thoroughly reading the shop terms and product details before purchasing. Many of our products go up for sale on a preorder basis and it is always clearly stated when that is the case.

7. Orders ship in 5 - 10 business days unless otherwise stated on the product page. Tracking information will be emailed when your package is on the way, at which point any further questions regarding its shipping status need to go to the USPS. Pre orders typically ship out 3 weeks to one month after purchased, specific dates for pre orders are always detailed on the product listing.

8. Please allow up to 72 hours for email responses. We value moving slow and being present with each and every task, including our patron correspondence.

Your understanding of our way of working and support of our apothecary is deeply appreciated. In our current world of fast paced and instantaneous transactions and work speed, support of craftspeople and small businesses is a small act with a big ripple effect.
